The Bobo Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in July 2024. The Bobo Fund was created in memory of Bobo, a dachshund who was rescued from a shelter in Kentucky at the age of 10 after his owner passed away during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bobo battled with Cushing’s disease, hypothyroidism, and chronic pancreatitis. The Bobo Fund is committed to providing assistance to pet owners facing financial hardship, ensuring that their beloved pets with chronic illnesses receive the essential medication they need. The Bobo Fund seeks to bridge this gap by providing temporary financial assistance to pet owners in need, ensuring that pets receive essential medications to improve their quality of life and prevent unnecessary euthanasia or surrender.
