Complicated Discourse: Arraignments, Indictments & Impeachments

  • 2530 Butler Street Dallas, TX, 75235 United States (map)

All viewpoints are encouraged to join us in this roundtable, moderated discussion respectfully debating relations between employees, unions, corporations, and the government. Why are so many companies on strike and how should employers respond? How much, if at all, should the government step in? What is the plight of the American worker today, and what can be done? Let's discuss!

As always, there will be rules for the discussion to keep logical fallacies at bay and disrespect off the table, along with an ice for anyone getting too heated.

Our Celestial Taqueria will be here whipping up their fresh, authentic tacos, quesadillas, tortas and more for brain food, and every participant and active viewer will receive a free 8oz pour!

As always, the goal is to practice open, respectful and productive conversation, all while uplifting each participant and keeping in mind the emotional and contextual implications involved with some heavier topics.

The public sphere has historically been a venue for individuals to come together and freely discuss and identify societal problems. Our current social climate has made this increasingly difficult, so the necessity for complicated discourse is more important than ever.

For those participating in this moderator-led round table discussion, we ask that you agree to follow our guidelines, such as avoiding reactionary responses and logical fallacies, in order to maintain a fruitful conversation.
